MANY people have washing machines in their kitchens or utility rooms downstairs.
But one family has been praised for bringing theirs upstairs in their BATHROOM so they don’t have to carry laundry far.

Louise Harris, who posts under @lcljharris246, shared a video showing how they made a mini utility cupboard in the corner.
She said: “Why do we take our clothes off upstairs, put them away upstairs, but wash them downstairs?
“This has made life so much easier and no more piles of clothes on the stairs.”
The family had some space in their bathroom at the end of their bath and decided to get creative.

They built a wooden cupboard in the gap, and added a washer and dryer stacked on top of one another.
Louise added that they installed waterproof plug sockets and ensured there was good ventilation in the room with an extractor fan.

She continued: “The sockets are in the loft. On the video you can see the wires go up through a whole in the roof by the pipes.”
Her video has racked up over 200,000 views, and people praised the idea.
